New Graduate Student Welcome is for all newly admitted graduate students, including non-degree seeking students.
Newly admitted graduate students, non-degree seeking students and graduate assistants are invited to join us in August for an on-campus, in-person welcome event. There are representatives from the UNO Office of Graduate Studies and many of our campus partners on hand to answer questions. The New Graduate Student Admit Welcome is a one stop shop for making sure our new admits are ready to begin the fall semester. Additionally, all new admits are highly encouraged to check our Virtual Graduate Orientation linked below.

2025 Event Date and Location
Our in-person 2025 New Grad Student Welcome Event is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 21 at the Thompson Alumni Center. Please note the date and location are subject to change. Newly admitted students will receive an official invitation via email.
