"Access to Excellence: A Faculty Guide“ was developed by the Center for Faculty Excellence in collaboration with UNO faculty members with the intent to provide:

  • Easy access to ideas and strategies to enhance teaching and learning and to strengthen UNO’s ability to educate all learners.
  • Insights to advance faculty research and creative endeavors and elevate UNO’s commitment to scholarship and discovery.

Upcoming Events

March 18: Spring Writing Sprint

Join colleagues for three days of focused writing on your chosen project(s). Peer support and writing consultants will be available. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on the 18th and the 20th.

March 25: Spring Qualitative Data Dive

Bring your qualitative data, proposals, manuscripts or other data or work in progress and join a group of like-minded qualitative researchers to spend some dedicated analysis and writing time.

March 28: Student Success through Student Support

Based on a proven framework, participants will discuss case scenarios involving student and faculty interactions and interact with staff from campus support units such as CAPS, ASC, DASH, and others.

May 19: Camp Completion 2025

Camp Completion is an immersive writing experience for faculty sponsored by the UNO Writing Center and the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE). Join colleagues for a week of focused writing (May 19-23) on your chosen project(s).
