Dr. Joanne Li poses for a portrait at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the Thompson Alumni Center. Li was named as the priority candidate to serve as the next chancellor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

"We exist today in perfect storm of automation, emerging technologies, and economic conditions where individuals who are not actively expanding their skills risk being on the outside looking in at career advancement opportunities now and in the future. That future is closer than we think."

Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, Chancellor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha How do you prepare for careers that don’t exist yet?
