Enrollment Begins January 2, 2025 Enroll early to enjoy a discount and charge the cost directly to your student account. Discount available until February 14, 2025.
Extended Enrollment February 15 - March 14, 2025 Enrollment remains open, but the discount will no longer apply.
End Date March 14, 2025 Final date to enroll.

What are Dining Dollars?

Dining Dollars are a prepaid account on your MavCARD, allowing you to purchase food and beverages at Dodge Campus dining locations.

Can I charge Dodge Dining Dollars to my student account?

Yes. When enrolling through the storefront portal, select “Payment by Check, Scholarship, or External Agency” as your payment option to charge it to your student account.

How do I enroll in Dodge Dining Dollars?

Enroll online through the university’s storefront portal during the enrollment period or visit the Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC) Business Office, Suite 216.

Can I use Dining Dollars to purchase "Simply to Go" options?

Yes, Dining Dollars can be used for “Simply to Go” items and other purchases at Dodge Dining locations.

Can I use Dining Dollars off-campus?

No, Dining Dollars are only accepted at Dodge Campus dining locations.

What is the difference between Dodge Dining Dollars and MavMONEY?

  • The Dodge Dining Dollars plan account is connected to Dodge Campus Dining locations. The amount of funds available each academic year depends upon the plan you selected. The Dining Dollars account can only be used at the Dodge Campus Dining Services locations. Any Dining Dollars remaining at the end of the academic year will be forfeited.

  • MavMONEY is a different ID card plan, giving students the flexibility to pay for purchases with their ID card. You can use your card at any number of vendors on campus, including all Dining Services locations, Coca-Cola and snack vending machines, The Maverick Store, and WEPA printers. MavMONEY works as a debit card, allowing you to pre-deposit money for spending. Funds loaded under this plan carry over each semester.

What happens if I lose my MavCARD?

Report it immediately to the MBSC Business Office to get a replacement card. Any remaining Dining Dollars will be transferred to your new card.

Can I increase my Dining Dollars balance during the semester?

No, funds can only be added during enrollment periods. However, you can add funds to MavMONEY at any time.

How can I check my Dining Dollars balance?

Check your balance anytime using the GET mobile app (available for Apple and Android) or the web portal. Note: You cannot add Dining Dollars through these platforms.

What should I do if I have issues with my Dining Dollars?

Contact the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office for assistance.

Are there any fees associated with Dining Dollars?

No, there are no fees for using Dining Dollars.

Can I use my Dining Dollars during university breaks or holidays?

Dining facility hours may vary during breaks and holidays. Check the dining services schedule for availability.

Can I use my Dining Dollars during the summer?

No, Dining Dollars are for the academic year and do not carry over to the summer or the next academic year.

Can I share Dining Dollars with friends or family?

No, Dining Dollars are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder.

Can employees enroll through payroll deduction?

No, funds must be paid upfront, as they are immediately loaded onto the MavCARD.

Is sales tax charged on Dodge Dining Dollars plans?

No sales tax is charged when you enroll. However, purchases at Dodge dining locations will include applicable sales tax.

What is the refund policy?

A 50% refund of the purchase price is available until the first day of classes. A request for a refund can be submitted to unombscbizoffice@unomaha.edu. If you need assistance or have questions about the Dodge Dining plan, please reach out to the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office at 402.554.2981. No refunds or cancellations are permitted starting the first day of classes.
